I am considering purchasing a fifth wheel camper, but not sure if my 2001 Chevy 1/2 ton5.3 with tow pack. work
the rv we are looking at dry weight is about 7000 pounds. will the chevy 1/2 ton tow this safely.
Put some overload springs and anti sway bars on The truck and you should be fine, be sure to inflate your rear tires another 20 to 30 pounds. 5 th wheel trailers are designed to distribute the weight evenly so all the weight is not on the truck or the trailer.
