Okay, I think she may be flirting with you. From personal experience I can say that she probably likes you as a little more than a friend but wants to see if you will flirt back. Try a little more communication [flirt!].
Worst case scenario is that she is kinda like me. Silly, sometimes random and likes to have fun with all her friends. Just watch her body language. If she likes you, you should definitely be able to tell by the way she talks and acts around you.

sounds like you might have a shot. if you are too afraid to do it in person, then why not text her and ask. she will be flattered for sure. i don't think she would hang out with you if she didn't loike you. thanks for answering my question

The question that needs to be asked after all that is, “who initially instigates these communications?”

If she often starts the communications and asks to hang out…then it probably wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to say that she could be interested. However, if you are the one who is mostly initiating contact, then likely you are a friendly distraction for her.

But honestly, just ask her out before she goes back and don’t take it too seriously. The last thing you want to do is put pressure on yourself and the situation and make things weird. Believe me, just ask in a not so direct way and make subtle moves when your out….then judge her responses. Best of Luck.

1.Keep an eye on how many times you catch her/him staring at you.
2.Take notice of whether s/he smiles at you a lot.
3.Look for whether s/he focuses on you in a crowd.
4.Observe if s/he has suddenly taken more interest in your friends.
5.Pay attention to any significant changes in her/his behavior toward you recently.
6.Start showing her/him a bit more interest and see how they respond.
7.Have a friend talk to her/him or one of her/his friends about you.
8.Ask, ‘[name], are you interested in me?’
