Teardrop trailer on a tent site?

Considering building a teardrop. I like tent camping myself but my camping partner has a rain omen as far as camping is concerned. (Rains, thunderstorms, torrential downpours, tornadoes when ever I camp with her (11 out of 14 times now)). So, thought about a tear drop. Do you know if most campgrounds generally let you put teardrops on tent sites because they are so small? I like seclusion, not being parked in an open lot with a bunch of RV's

I know I could call each campground individually but we just like to pack and go and don't always know where we will end up.

I have used a teardrop camper in tent sites before. Most people don't mind. Just be considerate of your neighbors and don't run your generator all night.
